Our Terms of Use ("Terms") also includes our Fair Use Policy, House Rules, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Data Processing Agreement, Content Guidelines, Creator Referral Terms and Conditions and any other documents referred to by those agreements, and they, as a whole, govern any and all of the access to the Teachable platform.

When we refer to “You” or “User”, we mean the entity you represent in accepting these Terms, or, if that does not apply, you individually. If you are accepting on behalf of your employer, your company, or another entity, you represent and warrant that (i) you have full legal authority to bind your employer or such entity to these Terms; (ii) you have read and understand these Terms; and (iii) you agree to these Terms on behalf of the party you represent.

By using our Platform in any manner, You are expressly agreeing to, and give Your consent to be governed by, these Terms. If You do not agree with these Terms or You do not wish to be bound by these Terms, You must not use or access the Platform in any manner.

Services Provided by Curiously

The Curiously Platform and Services

Curiously enables users to build customized AI-powered knowledge agents and manage AI interactions with learners. This includes creating, managing, and deploying vector knowledge bases, providing tools for feedback and oversight, and offering analytics on user interactions. All tools and services offered via the Platform are referred to as “Curiously Services.”

User Roles and Responsibilities

Curiously does not create or manage the content of vector knowledge bases or interactions. Users are responsible for the content they upload, manage, and oversee, and for compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.

Eligibility and Accounts

Age of Access

You must be at least 18 years old to use Curiously or have parental or guardian consent if between the ages of 13 and 18. Users under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete.

Code of Conduct

To maintain a respectful and secure environment, you agree to adhere to the following:

• No Illegal Activity: Do not use Curiously for unlawful purposes.

• No Fraud or Exploitation: Avoid misleading practices or exploiting users and learners.

• Be Respectful: Maintain civility in interactions and content creation.

• Data Integrity: Do not harvest or misuse data beyond permissible uses.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of Content

• Curiously’s Ownership: All rights to the Platform, software, logos, and associated materials are retained by Curiously.

• Your Ownership: Content you create, upload, or manage using Curiously remains your intellectual property. However, by uploading content, you grant Curiously a non-exclusive license to store and process it to deliver services.

Feedback

Suggestions or feedback submitted to Curiously may be used to enhance our services without obligation or compensation to you.

Data Privacy and Processing

Curiously processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. As a controller of learner data, you are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws and maintaining transparency with learners regarding data use.

Subscription and Fees

Billing

Curiously plans are billed on a subscription basis. You will be charged in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly or annually). Pricing and payment terms are outlined on our pricing page.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 30 days of the initial subscription for monthly or annual plans.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, unless otherwise specified.

Limitation of Liability

Curiously is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

Modifications to the Platform or Terms

Curiously reserves the right to modify these Terms or any part of the Platform at its sole discretion. Updates will be posted to the Platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
